Distinctive black-over-blue sleeve piping references the identifying colour patches worn by Queensland infantry battalions in World War One, including the 9th, 25th, 41st and 49th battalions. The Rising Sun badge takes precedence over the Queensland logo, symbolising service, remembrance, and the unbreakable bond between today's players and the Reds who heeded the nation's call.
